SPFL ELECTIONS WILL BE HELD AT NEXT CONVENTION

Tampa, FL – The Provisional Committee today announced plans to hold the first party elections in over 5 years during the next Southern Party of Florida State Convention.

The party has yet to set a date for the State Convention, but has hinted that it will occur very soon, possibly within a matter of weeks. Likely spots for the 2008 State Convention of the Southern Party of Florida are Brooksville, Tampa, St. Petersburg, Orlando, and Clearwater.

The elections will be for the Chairpersonship of the party, the other Executive positions, such as Vice Chair’s, Treasurer, Secretary, Sergeant at Arms, will all be excluded from this years election and will be appointed by the new Chairperson.
