2008 SPFL STATE CONVENTION SET FOR MARCH 17th

Tampa, FL – The next State Convention of the Southern Party of Florida will be held on Monday, March 17, 2008 in Tampa, Florida. The Convention will be only open to members of the Provisional Committee and a hand full of invited guests.

The out come of the Convention and the party election will determine the new Chairperson, the make up of the newly restored Southern Party of Florida, and the political face of the party for the next 4 years when the next State Convention will be held.

Currently only two members of the Provisional Committee, Kevin Floyd and Morgan Sweeny have indicated that they will run for the office of Southern Party of Florida Chairperson.

The location of the Convention will be in North Tampa in Carrollwood area at a private clubhouse. Due to privacy and security concerns the exact location of the Convention have been kept confidential by the Provisional Committee.

Following the Convention, the newly elected officers of the Southern Party of Florida will head down to the near by Beef O’Brady’s and O’Briens to celebrate the election out come and the official restoration of the party.
