SPFL HONORS CONFEDERATE PATRIOTS

Tampa, FL - The leadership of the newly restored Southern Party of Florida today honored the sacrifice of Florida’s Confederate troops at various private organized remembrance events across the bay area.

The SPFL kicked the day off at sunrise in downtown Tampa at the historic Oaklawn cemetery that is home to a number of Confederate heroes. Party officers spent most of the morning clearing weeds from around the headstones of the Confederate graves and placing single red roses and Confederate Battle Flags next to the headstones.

For those that are historically illiterate the City of Tampa was a vital Confederate port city during the War

FLORIDA DIVISION OF ELECTIONS APPROVES SPFL!

Tallahassee, FL - The Florida based “flank” of the Southern Resistance and Liberation Movements received a huge second wind today when the Florida Division of Elections announced that they would approve the application to restore the Southern Party of Florida as a legal political party in the state once again.

The SPFL reapplied with the Florida Department of State a few weeks earlier on March 28th, and reportedly received little to no speed bumps during the process which was pushed through by the Division of Elections at record speeds.

News that the application was approved reached the leadership of the party at their temporary field HQ in Odessa, Florida within hours of the approval. Now that the SPFL is once again a legal party, leaders have announced that they will do everything

FLOYD FOUNDS THE HOME RULE OF DIXIE

Lutz, FL – In anticipation of a favorable result to the Secession Study of Florida, Chairperson Floyd announced today at a special meeting of the Executive Committee that he has founded the Home Rule League of Dixie which shall be the Southern Liberation arm of the Southern Party of Florida and her allies.

In addition to promoting Southern Liberty, the League will be charged with assisting the party in reestablishing its power base, and carrying out the will of Florida per the results of the current study which is set to end July 10th. According to party leaders the results of the study should be ready for public release by September or even October at the earliest.

SPFL LAUNCHES 90 DAY FLORIDIAN RESEARCH

Odessa, FL - Today the Southern Party of Florida announced that it will start a 90 day research study of Floridians across the state regarding their views of the South, and their opinions regarding hot button issues such as States Rights, the Confederate Flag, the War of Southern Independence, the current War, Civil Rights, Gas, Illegal Immigration, Gay Marriage, Gun Rights, Race, and the Economy.

The study will be carried out by an exploratory panel of SPFL members that are spread across the state and have volunteered for the assignment.
