Odessa, FL - Today the Southern Party of Florida announced that it will start a 90 day research study of Floridians across the state regarding their views of the South, and their opinions regarding hot button issues such as States Rights, the Confederate Flag, the War of Southern Independence, the current War, Civil Rights, Gas, Illegal Immigration, Gay Marriage, Gun Rights, Race, and the Economy.
The study will be carried out by an exploratory panel of SPFL members that are spread across the state and have volunteered for the assignment. The panel has been charged by the State Executive Committee with randomly polling Floridians across the state; the panel must ensure that they poll all Floridians regardless of race, sex, creed, nationality, orientation, religion or economic make up. According to the mandate issued by the Executive Committee today, the only limitation requirement is that the person(s) polled must speak English or Cajun, the party is not interested in the opinions of illegal foreign nationals that should not, in the opinion of the SPFL, have a say in Florida’s politics.
The study will begin this Saturday, April 12th in the cities of Key West, Miami, Tampa, Orlando, Tallahassee, Jacksonville, and Pensacola. From these major cities the panel members will head out into the surrounding counties and must make every attempt to canvas all 65 counties by the deadline date of July 10th.
SPFL researchers have been instructed by the Committee to poll as many people as humanly possible, and have set the poll minimum at 5,000. However they have also been instructed to not violate any property rights, and to be wary of which areas to conduct polls in. Still many Committee officers expressed their concerns over sending SPFL members into dangerous neighborhoods at the recent party meeting. Thus the Executive Committee ordered SPFL researchers to express their best judgment and to not place themselves in danger.
If all goes well the results of this study will not only be used to guide the Southern Party of Florida as it continues to rebuild itself, but will also be the most complete, and accurate single piece of data to date regarding how Floridians view the South, and most importantly will tell if today’s Floridians would support another push for Southern freedom and independence from the American Empire.
