Tampa, FL - With the July 4th holiday weekend closing in at warp speed, don’t expect gas prices to share in the holiday. Many economic experts and wall street leaches have predicted that the price of a barrel of oil may hit all time record highs just in time for one of the most traveled holidays, July 4th.
Other factors then greed for the out of control price of gasoline include for once a feasible excuse, the current devastating floods in Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Kentucky, and Illinois. You see up until this point Big Oil has not had a valid reason for doubling the price of gas, nor have they (Big Oil / Federal Government) bothered to give an answer as to why gas prices never came back down once the refineries that were damaged by the 2004 and 2005 Hurricanes came back online.
In addition to bold face lies Big Oil has also ignored the fact that the world wide demand for oil has sunk like a rock since last April. You see based on the laws of supply and demand, which by the way is the corner stone of both the Southron and American (capitalistic) way’s of life, the price at the pump should be dropping but instead they once again defy all logic and continue to gouge you and I out of our hard earned money.
Where and when will this fleecing stop?! Well you had better hold on to your kepi’s, the price of gas is expected by economists from the University of Georgia, University of Mississippi, and University of Florida, to hit $8.00 to $9.00 a gallon by the time this is all said and done 3-4 years from now. These Southron Economists believe that the price of gasoline in America (which unfortunately includes Dixie) will give the European Union a run for its money as far as gas prices are concerned.
The leadership of the Southern Party of Florida is expected to meet this upcoming Saturday – June 21, 2008 in a special session at a private location here in the Tampa Bay area to discuss the surging price of gas, the coming depression, their impacts on the Party / Dixie and other key Party issues. Chairman Floyd had this to say regarding the state of the Southron economy and what Southron must do in order to overcome it and not only prosper.
“We Southerners have managed to defy the odds and exist in this world despite numerous failed attempts to wipe our people out ethnically, culturally, and literally. If we can survive despite the odds being against we will surely meet this new enemy head on and defeat it as well. just like our ancestors had to live below their means to have a enjoyable life so must we.
The SPFL encourages all Southrons to declare war on debit, pay off those credit cards and loans, and if you are paying a car payment on a gas hog, like I am then you need to sell it privately and get a Japanese beater that is good on gas and reliable until you can buy that truck, suv, or jeep of your dreams with cold hard cash. The time of living with debit is far over and the future will be bitter and cruel to those that do not know how to manage their money, history has a way of repeating itself and those that are ignorant to the lessons of history will be doomed to forever repeat it.”
Last month the SPFL issued a proclamation that they will lead by example and put their money where their mouths are by selling off their leased / financed trucks and suv’s and do a leadership wide, Dave Ramsey – Total Money Makeover. The SPFL hopes that within 2-3 years all of its executive and senior officers will be living debit free and using mostly just cash.
In addition to the personal life changes the leadership of the SPFL is taking to adapt to the worsting economy and bleak future, this weekends special session will cover radical changes that are needed for the Party to grow into a viable 3rd Party in Florida come the 2012 elections. Leadership of the SPFL have dawg eared 2012 as the “go” date to run candidates for local and state offices across Florida.
SPFL Vice Chair Kenneth Mulder had this to say about the Total Money Makeover and the Special Session this Saturday.
“Well we are not broke, and the Party is not broke, please do not misinterpret our intentions or reasons for deciding to take radical steps to eliminate our own debit, and restructure the Party to be able to grow.
Our choice to become debit free is not even needed, none of us are in dire straights, we are living the American Dream and all have control over our finances, but in the near future we can see storm clouds gathering on the horizon that could rock the boat enough to get us wet. In other words we are leading by example, while we are not in danger of going belly up many Southrons out there are, and how can they trust our advice and guidance if we are not willing to do the same thing, thus we are going to use Mr. Ramsey’s plan and will endorse it as the cure all to the woes of our economy. For example its hard to complain about gas if you have zero debit, and drive a paid for car.
On the other side the SPFL needs to be revamped so that it can prepare for the 2012 launch date we have set. Its nothing radical, just a simple business strategy adjustment that will give the Party extra funds to save for the launch date. The Party is not in any danger, just a change in the business model for the long haul to bring Constitutional and responsible government back to the Southron people of Florida.”
