GREAT DEPRESSION THE SEQUEL?

September 28, 2008

Atlanta, GA (FOX) - A record number of Americans receiving food stamps. Gas prices at an all-time high, and staples such as milk, eggs and bread costing a prettier penny every week. The average number of Americans filing for unemployment benefits reached its highest level in two years last week, while just this week, construction spending fell for the fifth straight month and manufacturing activity shrank to its lowest level in five years. Real estate values are even plummeting in the Hamptons, and hedge funds started off 2008 with their worst quarter ever.

Most economists are no longer debating whether there will be a recession in 2008. Now, they’re arguing over when the recession started — was it last November, or December? — and how bad it’s likely to get. While they bicker, however, a far more terrifying economic specter from the distant past has sent a chill through the infosphere. Read the rest of this entry »

LIBERAL MEDIA NEEDS TO LEARN THE MEANING OF STALINSIT TACTICS

September 28, 2008

New York, NY – Palin-bashing columnist Kathleen Parker received some nasty e-mails. Now, she’s accusing conservatives who didn’t like her attack on Sarah of engaging in Stalinist tactics:

“My mail paints an ugly picture and a bleak future if we do not soon correct ourselves. The picture is this: Anyone who dares express an opinion that runs counter to the party line will be silenced. That doesn’t sound American to me Read the rest of this entry »

A NEW GREAT DEPRESSION LOOMING?

September 27, 2008

Richmond, VA - Dysfunctional capital markets, frantic central banks, stressed-out consumers, fear and uncertainty — all are alarming echoes of the global economic cataclysm of the 1930s.

Which raises the inevitable question: Could another Great Depression be lurking over the horizon?

TV news programs show grainy footage of Depression-era bankers as reporters tick off grim economic statistics. The Federal Reserve invokes powers it hasn’t used since the 1930s. Critics of President Bush’s economic policies are emboldened to use the H-word: “Hoover.”

On the surface, there are disquieting parallels between economic conditions in the early 1930s and those of today. There is the popping of enormous asset bubbles — stocks then, housing now. Read the rest of this entry »

BAIL OUT = MARXIST OBAMA LEAPS OVER MCCAIN IN POLLS

September 26, 2008

Washington DC (ABC NEWS) - Barack Obama has seized the reins of economic discontent, vaulting over John McCain’s convention gains by persuading voters he both better understands their economic troubles and can better address them.

Concerns about the economy have spiked since the global financial crisis roiled the stock market and sparked a proposed government bailout.

Fifty-three percent of registered voters in this new ABC News/Washington Post poll call the economy the single most important issue in the election, up 12 points in two weeks to an extraordinary level of agreement.

The public is cool to the bailout itself, underscoring economic uncertainty. Read the rest of this entry »

CRASH OF YANKEE ECONOMY HAS BEGUN

September 25, 2008

Richmond, VA (FOX Business) - It’s official. Mark your calendars. The crash of the U.S. economy has begun. It was announced the morning of Wednesday, June 13, 2007, by economic writers Steven Pearlstein and Robert Samuelson in the pages of the Washington Post, one of the foremost house organs of the U.S. monetary elite.

Pearlstein’s column was titled, “The Takeover Boom, About to Go Bust” and concerned the extraordinary amount of debt vs. operating profits of companies currently subject to leveraged buyouts.

In language remarkably alarmist for the usually ultra-bland pages of the Post, Pearlstein wrote, “It is impossible to predict when the magic moment will be reached and everyone finally realizes that the prices being paid for these companies, and the debt taken on to support the acquisitions, Read the rest of this entry »

SPFL ENRAGED OVER BAIL OUTS

September 24, 2008

Tampa, FL - The leadership of the Southern Party of Florida is beside itself with anger and unbelief at the recent bailouts by the Federal Empire of the corrupt Wall Street moguls that wasted the public’s wealth at a crackhead like speed.

Today at a meeting in North Tampa with local SPFL business members and associates the Party discussed that this move will end up hurting us more then if they just let it just work itself out as the taxpayers assume all responsibility for repaying the debits of very wealthy men and women that are not loosing any sleep over this problem. OBAMA LIES ABOUT EQUAL PAY FOR WOMEN

September 23, 2008

Chicago, IL – What comes first, the dropping poll numbers or the rising realization that Barack Obama is a phony? While I am sure we can all cite numerous instances where the Marxist Messiah’s mouth has proven to be makeshift myth, women will be pleased to focus on only one.

What He Says

As reported by Deroy Murdock in the September 13th New York Post, Barack Obama appears to be blowing smoke on pay equity for women. Read the rest of this entry »

TODAY SHOW CAUGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF A LOCAL CULTURE WAR

September 22, 2008

Tampa, FL - For those that got an opportunity to catch the NBC Today morning shows broadcast live from the historic University of Tampa on the shores of the Hillsborough River you will understand what I’m about to say, for those that missed it, well allow us to fill you in on what an embarrassment it was for native Tampians.

In a one time only event, well one time until the 2012 elections that is, the ultra liberal NBC network decided to dispatch its over rated morning show, the Today Show, to all the key battle ground states. Which ironically are only key in the eyes of Marxist Barack Obama whom needs a liberal surge if he has any chance of even coming close to taking them away from McCain’s iron grip.
