CLEMSON, SC - Hope everyone had a good fourth weekend. We know the city of Myrtle Beach did not, losing the rights to three years of hosting the ACC baseball tournament on Monday thanks to the interference of, what has become a black supremacist organization, that is hell bent on ethnically cleansing the South of its native culture and history.
In the end, it appears the ACC do proper vetting (in regard to its own guidelines) in selecting Myrtle Beach as a site for the ACC baseball tournament.
Quick overview …
The ACC is not bound to follow the NCAA moratorium on postseason play (though baseball regionals are often hosted), however the conference has chose on its own to be cohort of the NAACP’s economic boycott of the state regarding the Confederate flag flying near the state capitol building.
Last year NAACP state president Dr. Lonnie Randolph said The NCAA decision has cost the state $15-$25 million per season. That figure is full of hot air, the State of South Carolina is doing just fine without the dumb turn coat ACC, the NAACP, and the handful of obscure black businesses that recognize this pointless boycott. Thus in reality the state at most has lost only a mere couple hundred thousand dollars over 20 years… for those of you out there that are slow on math thats only about a few thousand a year.
Lets face it no one travels in mass to watch a College Baseball or Basketball tournament now a days and these events are only attended mostly by locals whom live in the area that the tourney is held.
Thus in the end the ACC is only starving itself of cash it could had gained from Clemson fans watching their team play in the ACC tourney… Miami, FSU, BC, or VT fans could care less. Case in point take a look at the attendance numbers of the ACC Conference Champsionship games played down here in our back yard in Tampa, FL… they can’t give away tickets.
In the case of the Myrtle Beach host site, the local chapter of the NAACP was OK with hosting the tournament, but not the state and national branches were not.
It’s too bad for the Grand Strand, and its business men and women of South Carolina whom have been silent on this matter. They did a nice job hosting the 2007 Myrtle Beach Regional, which Clemson won, and the 2008 Conway Regional. There is plenty of beach, entertainment and hotel rooms and the Class A ballpark there is a nice venue.
As we Southerners know, the historically ignorant out there love to pick at the Confederate Flag because of their claim that it stands for racism but some how know nothing about the War that created it.
This is why we call them (i.e. the NAACP, Anti-Defamation League, etc.) ignorant because they know nothing about the true history of the War and the reason why the Confederacy formed and why either side fought each other in North Americas bloodiest war to date. Instead they rely heavily on the Union propaganda that was drummed up by the Union Army which seized all Federal news papers in 1862 by order of ole Abe Lincoln; meanwhile we rely on cold hard facts about what happened and very little of the war had anything to do with racism or slavery, but alas I must stop here before I ramble on further. This is a subject for another article.
We know the (ignorant) opponents say it represents hatred and racism.
We know the defenders of the flag say it’s about heritage, history, and culture of Dixie.
Unstoppable blind and ignorant force meets an immovable and righteous object.
In the end, even if the dollar numbers are relatively small, the controversy is hurting the state’s economy at a time when it needs the money. This my fellow Dixons is a war for our survival in the modern world and we have been quiet for way too long.
Some one needs to do something about this and unfortunately it appears that someone is us. Despite being at only 15% operating capacity we will throw that 15% at the NAACP boycott of South Carolina in an attempt to break and crush it and if we stand a shot in hell then we are going to need your help!
