Florida Patriot & the struggle…

The Florida Patriot is the official news agency of the native people of Florida whom currently do not have a voice of their own and have become a silent majority in their own land.

The Florida Patriot is dedicated to preserving and promoting the native Southern culture, governance, heritage, and history of  Floridians which has been eroded and in some counties wiped out entirely by decades of rampant migration by Yankees, foreign nationals, liberal extremists, and worst of all illegal immigrants (criminals) from Mexico and Latin America.

The past 40 years of rapid urban sprawl, development, unchecked migration, and un-enforced immigration was mastermind by the sleazy Republicans and Democrats which have sold out Floridians and violated their oaths of office so that they could gain the voting favors of these human locusts, that have wreaked utter havoc not only on Floridians culture, heritage, or right to self governance but on the States fragile environment as well.

The Florida Patriot is an online publication which is using the Word Press Blog system to relay stories of interest to the native Southern people of Florida.

Currently Florida’s main stream media outlets (local Fox, NBC, CBS, ABC & Cable Networks) are all satellite correspondents of non-Floridian and non-Southern (i.e. foreign) operated media conglomerates run out of the toxic Yankee / Liberal megalopolis’s of  New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles.

As such the news that comes out of these media “Trojan Horses” which air in Florida is not trust worthy, rarely based on real facts (i.e. most of it is either hard left wing, hard right wing, or foreign national propaganda), and is more or less trickle down yellow journalism which is almost always backed by some national / global special interest group, political action committee, or international corporation.

Thus the need for a native run, owned, operated and funded news agency is truly dire. The people of Florida have no trusted news sources to turn towards to base their political opinion, get untainted news, or get the facts they need to be an educated member of society.

This is why the Florida Patriot will attempt to fill this gap by publishing stories which have had the Liberal or Republican garbage filtered out. This way when you go to the polls or buy a product you can make an educated decision based on facts instead of being brain washed into submission.

The Florida Patriot Wants You!

The Florida Patriot is operated by a small handful of volunteers composed entirely of native born Floridians that are proud of their home land. Editorial powers are reserved by the Executive Director of the Home Rule League of Florida for the time being until we can fill the spot with an actual Chief Editor. Please note that all volunteers must register with the Home Rule League of Florida as a member before you can be considered for any volunteer vacancy listed with the Florida Patriot.

Currently the Florida Patriot has a staff of 5 personnel altogether not including the interim Editor. Out of those 5 contributors 3 are ghost writers and the other 2 are bloggers.

History of the Florida Patriot

The Florida Patriot was previously associated with the Southern Party of Florida (SFL) which was a legal political party registered in the State of Florida 1999 to 2009. The SFL was a Constitutional / Traditional political party that mirrored the morals and will of  native Floridian’s. Despite the long and successful run of the SFL which gained an estimated 6,672 members (over all estimated total), the Party was dissolved by its Executive Committee due to a lack of funding and donations in early 2009.

Following the dissolution of the Southern Party of Florida the Florida Patriot’s voice went silent for 2 months. Once the dust settled the remaining remnant members of the SFL began the long process of starting over from square one. First the remnants began by getting the Florida Patriot operational again and secondly they began the long process of establishing a new association or organization to bear the torch for a return to constitutional governance by Floridians for Floridians.

On Thursday, April 1, 2009 (April Fools Day) the remnant members of the SFL unofficially founded the first ever Home Rule League of Florida. The group is modeled after other historical Home Rule League’s throughout history such as for example the Home Rule League of Hawaii, Home Rule League of Puerto Rico, and the Home Rule League of Ireland.

Our Goals and Mission

The ultimate goal of the HRLF is to make the Florida Patriot into a viable daily print publication that will run competitively against the tainted transplant rags and to have the Patriot be most prominently circulated across parts of Florida with the highest native Floridian populations (North and Central Florida).

The ultimate goal of the Florida Patriot is to present honest, fair, and nonpartisan tainted news articles to the people of Florida as effectively as possible. As Floridians read our articles hopefully we will gain their trust and support over time… we seek to educate, inform, and warn.

We Need Your Support

However without the support of Floridians like you the Florida Patriot will never see the light of day as a print publication. We need your support if we are ever to achieve the lofty goals that we have set fourth.

You can lend your support in two ways:

(1) Just simply reading the Florida Patriot at least 5 days a week or encouraging your friends and family to check us out. We can track how many people read our publication on a daily basis and could eventually develop an advertising game plan that could assist the Florida Patriot towards becoming a larger online publication and possibly a print publication.

(2) Secondly there is no substitute for money, if you believe in our mission and what we do every day then please consider donating to the Florida Patriot which needs your help. Any and all donations will go into a high interest money market savings account where it shall be kept until we have enough funds to evolve the Florida Patriot into a larger publication.

Lastly you can aid the Florida Patriots growth by aiding the growth of the Home Rule League of Florida which also desperately needs your support, not just in the form of donations but in form of active members, volunteers, and native Floridians whom are active in their communities.

Currently the HRLF is in the process of organizing its resources and plans to hold a public organizational launch in the summer of 2010.
